The TUT in cooperation with Ardoran OÜ, Metrosert AS and the Riga Technical University have developed measuring devices and software, hardware and mathematical interfaces for the precise measurement of metal conductivity. Based on the findings and the developed tools AS Metrosert in cooperation with the TUT will provide the high-quality and cost-effective service of calibration, certification and verification of the devices used to measure the coins produced to approximately 20 coining companies of the EU (in Finland, Germany, Austria, Portugal, etc.). This is the first time an Estonian organisation has been awarded an R&D project by the EU.
