TalTech School of Business and Governance ̶ first in Estonia to receive BSIS (Business School Impact System) label
TalTech SBG passed successfully the BSIS process and on 6 June 2019 became the first business school in Estonia to receive BSIS label.
The aim of going through this process was to analyse the impact of TalTech SBG in Estonia and how to further increase it. Evaluation was carried out by the experts of EFMD Global Network. The BSIS is designed to assess regional economic, intellectual, cultural and social impact using both quantitative and qualitative indicators.
Dean Enn Listra comments: "The results of the evaluation indicate that the impact of TalTech SBG is about ten times bigger than the School's budget. In addition to financial impact, intellectual, educational and business impact should be stressed. Our impact on the regional economic ecosystem, the society and image of Estonia is continuously increasing."
In sum, TalTech SBG is a dynamic part of a university that is recognised as a significant player in the educational, technological and political ecosystem in Estonia and the Baltic region. TalTech SBG makes a significant contribution to the image of Tallinn and Estonia as a high tech community committed to digital transformation within an entrepreneurially dynamic society.
