Master of Concrete 2019
Competition guidelines in English:
On 15th of March teams of 2-4 people make 2 test subjects made out of concrete with the dimensions of 100x100x100mm. The concrete is made from materials that teams provide for themselves or the materials which are provided by the organizer.
Materials provided by the the organizer:
• Cement CEM I 42,5N
• Natural nonfiltered sand
• Limestone gravel (fraction 4/8 and 8/16 mm)
• Superplastificator Semflow LES

After the test subjects harden for 28 days, the ranking will be divided into 2 categories. In the first category the ranking will be based on the most compressive strength the subject can stand and the second category consists of on how close to 50 MPa is the compressive strength of the test subject. High school teams are ranked in a different category. The teams will choose on visual evaluation on which subject takes part in which category. While choosing the test subject it is forbidden to use measuring devices to weigh and measure the subject. In the first category when teams make the test subjects with equal compressive strength, the second test subject is also tested and ranking is based on average compressive strength.
